Challenge: Extend Brooklyn Brewery's LGBTQ+ advocacy beyond pride -- with a culturally resonant message that stops people in their tracks.

We started by focusing in on one harrowing statistic: 1 in 6 LGBTQ+ teens made a suicide attempt last year.

​

Losing 1 in 6 is something we simply cannot ignore... After all, you wouldn't ignore it with your beer:

Thus the idea: 1 missing beer out of 6, symbolizing the 1 in 6 teens.

​

In place of the missing can, you'll find collectable BB merch that tells the human stories behind the statistic alongside a direct CTA to donate and learn more.

 

Plus, â…™ of proceeds from these cases go to the Trevor Project (suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth).
